These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Iris AI mobile application and website (the "Service"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Iris AI uses artificial intelligence and iridology-inspired analysis to provide wellness and educational insights based on a photo of your iris. The Service is for general informational and wellness purposes only.

2. Not Medical Advice

Iris AI is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. The insights provided are not medical advice and are not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read in the App.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts

Some features require you to sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account within the App.

5. Credits and Purchases

Certain features require credits, which you can buy through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to their terms. Credits are a limited, non-transferable license to use features of the Service; they have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and are non-refundable except where required by law or by the applicable app store's policies. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. Unused credits are forfeited if you delete your account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Upload content that is not your own iris image or that infringes the rights of others.
• Misuse, automate, or attempt to circumvent the credit system.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Iris AI and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Your iris images and analyses remain yours.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any insight is accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iris AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction in which Iris AI operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
